Jo Douglas

Jo started at Millbrook in March 2008 as a volunteer in the kennels. She attended various courses during her 9 years as a volunteer - dog aggression, puppy training and behavioural analysis among them and walked and socialised dogs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. She made the transistion to the staff becoming a part time member in June 2017 and in February 2018 became a full time member of staff.

As an all rounder she can be found working in the reception, kennels and cattery and at all events is to be found on the Millbrook bric-a-brac stall.

In her free time she loves holidays and travelling the world. In fact most of her money seems to go on this past time! She also loves BBq's , walking, going out with her friends and generally enjoying life.

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference to some animals and not have the responsibity of ownership! Millbrook and most other rescue centres rely heavily on volunteers and would find it difficult to operate without them. If you have any free time please consider volunteering. And you never know it can lead to a new career.
