General information

Pete was found as a stray and his owners were not traced so he is now seeking a new forever home.

Pete is a lovely little dog and he has a very chilled out character. Pete has some basic training but would benefit from further training. Pete walks nicely on the lead. Off lead he runs about but has limited recall. He will need to stay on a long line in public at first while his owners work on his recall and as he has a very high prey drive. He will need off lead play in a well enclosed garden while his recall is improved on.

Pete is friendly with dogs but he does not like male dogs. He can only live with female dogs.

Pete walks nicely with other dogs but can sometimes be vocal. Out on his walks he is very interested in ducks and birds and goats due to his high prey drive, so again a long line will help keep him under control. Due to this, he is best in a home with no other small pets. He can live with children of junior school age.

As Pete was a stray we have little history on him. He may need refresher house training, and car travel training. He can be left for short periods built up slowly as he settles.
