Volunteering

We have many volunteers at Millbrook and rely greatly on their hard work and commitment to assist the staff to care for our animals.

The way we take on volunteers has now changed and you can now apply for a specific role that is advertised on the national website. Please visit the national RSPCA website to find volunteering opportunities at Millbrook and fill in a form. We will be in touch shortly after, to arrnage an interview and begin your induction process.

Work experience

If you are looking to do your work experience with us, please send us an email with the dates that you can do.

Work experience must be completed in week blocks, so you cannot do one day per week. You must be over 16 years old to do work experience with us, and we prioritise people who are currently studying an animal-related course and vet students.

Our calendar gets filled up very quickly, with the next at least six months already full, or only a few weeks available, so please be organised and get in touch as soon as possible.
