George is born!!

Wednesday 26th June seems a pretty normal day, some of the staff that live on site are up early to walk their dogs before work, but this morning is different - there is a new arrival at Millbrook: George!!

Cally gave birth overnight to a bay foal called George - what a lovely suprise! All of the staff and volunteers were so happy to hear the news and we all took it in turns to go down to their field to have a look. He was finding his feet and having a good run around to test them out!

The vet came to see mother and son later in the day; he reported that both Cally and George are doing very well, he is a healthy little horse :)
