Kittens First Day Outside

The kittens are nearly 4 weeks old now and are starting to move around alot more

They are therefore in need of more space to stretch their legs!!

They are not old enough to go out of their cat flap, (or big enough to climb down the steps) so we have to carry them to the outside of their pen - which has been made as comfy as possible with plenty of blankets and fleeces (it is a little cold at the moment, but not so much that the kittens have to stay inside)

There are toys so that they can play (which they have just started to do) and small litter trays and water bowls so that they can reach them when they start to want to use them

When we go home at night, we make sure that the kittens are put back inside and that the cat flap is locked, just incase one of them gets brave and attemps to get out!!! Plus, it's far too cold for them to be out at night

Smokie, is happy to have more room too!! She can go in and out of the cat flap when the kittens are on the outside of their pen, this gives her a bit of time-out from them too :)
