A visit from the Farrier

On Monday Orca was paid a visit by the Farrier

She is sometimes a bit naughty when having her feet touched, so we had to feed her at the same time to keep her happy! Today was the best-behaved she has ever been with the farrier, so she is getting better each time :)

Darcy is only six weeks old now, and although she is too young to need her feet seeing to, she couldn't resist coming into the yard to have a nose round!

She is slowly getting used to having her legs and feet handled, we are doing this every day so that when the time comes, she does not have a problem with the farrier

Darcy also could not resist trying to get in on the food we had out for Orca!! And she also tried to get into the tack room too! She's getting a bit big for this now - she ended up having a back rub instead, which she loves!
