Darcy at 4 months

We can hardly believe it, but Darcy is now 4 months old!

She is so much bigger than foals usually are at this age - we think she will be bigger than her mum, and Orca is a big horse!

Darcy has really come on, she is slowly getting used to everything that goes with being a horse - she likes being groomed, and is getting used to having her feet picked up too - the one thing she does not like is having her ears touched! We are not sure why, so every morning we feed her from a little bit and make sure we touch her ears (the food stops her from thinking about it!!)

If you look back at the previous pictures of Darcy, you can see how much she has changed - her coat is almost grown through now, and she is turning a beautiful dark Bay colour
