If you’re looking for a loyal, water-loving companion then this dog is right for you - you'll be expected to come visit her multiple times due to her nervous tendencies.

Meet Athena! she is at first nervous yet loving girl with a heart of gold and a deep, passionate love for anything involving water. Whether it’s splashing in dog pools, scooping out her water bowls or biting at the garden hose, this girl is a certified water baby.

Athena would need to be the only pet within your household and is in need of some basic and manners training when meeting and interacting with dogs and people due to her excitement. We would expect you to be willing to take her to training classes and work with her on improving these behaviours.

Athena has a gentle, loving side that makes her a great fit for a family. She is well-suited to live with sensible, secondary school-aged children who understand her boundaries and nervous moments that can be a part of her daily routine. She will need a private enclosed garden with 6 ft fencing.

Athena is a work in progress, and she’s looking for a specific kind of leader to help her blossom:

Dog Experience: She needs owners who understand canine body language and behavior.
