About us

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Not us! We are SpongeBob and Pearl. Let us tell you a bit about us...

We are looking for a very specific home due to our breed - the staff are not 100% sure what we are, but think we are Sphynx crossed with some sort of Rex - we are quite bald but then have wavy-ish fur on our tails and legs.

We are looking for an indoor home only, where we can have plenty of space to run and play and basically live our best lives - if someone could build us a secure catio in their garden, even better! We are prone to getting sunburn, so we will need to wear sun protection (cat friendly stuff of course!) and we will get cold in the winter and a bit too hot in warmer weather, so our new family must make sure that we are kept comfortable as the weather changes.

SpongeBob: So, my name is SpongeBob (I have the mark on my head) and I am the life of the party. I am an adventurer who loves to climb on everyone and demand affection. I love to talk to everyone and am usually the first to say hello (usually because I am the loudest!)

Pearl: My sister, Pearl, is less demanding of affection but equally confident and loving. We both love the company of humans and really enjoy affection. We are really loud purrers, so there is no doubt of our joy and contentment.

Despite our rough past, we haven't let that define our future or our spirit. We are full of joy, love and curiosity and eagerly await our next adventure, which hopefully includes you!

We can live with children and cat-friendly dogs, and cat-friendly cats. We are quite young still (only around 3months) so we need to be homed in an area away from busy roads and railway lines, so we can explore our new area safely.
