About us
Winnie (lop eared) and Willow are a lovely sister-duo who came into our care with three other bunnies due to bad conditions. They were all living in squallor with Winnie in particular suffering very bad teeth, a severe skin infection under her chin, and she was underweight. Since being in our care, Winnie and Willow have bounced back to health and come out of their shells!
These girls are big characters, with Winnie often showing off her clever brain during our rabbit training at the centre. Shes very bright and very motivated by any food (she will eat anything!) so shes been very easy to train. The staff at our centre have been teaching Winnie 'place' training, and to follow a target stick and boop the end with her nose. If her adopters choose they could easily continue this training for fun or practicability, such as teaching Winnie carrier training.
Winnie and Willow are often found playing with their toys or enjoying enrichment, or exploring our grass runs. These girls are very sociable with our staff, coming running when they hear their names, and theyre both easy to handle.
