I may have had a very tough start to my life, but I refuse to let my past define me! The wonderful team at Millbrook have been helping me learn how to trust again, and I have made massive strides. I am a brave, resilient boy who only has three legs, but that doesn't slow me down! I am just looking for a special family to help me write my next, best chapter.

💖 My Personality

Once I know you and trust you, I am an absolute lovebug! My love is full-on—I’m talking enthusiastic greetings, big energy, and total devotion. Because I can be a bit bouncy when I'm expressing my affection, I need a home with older, dog-savvy teenage children who can handle my joyful outbursts.

I can still be a little wary of new people when we are out and about around the centre. Because of this, I am looking for patient adopters who have experience with nervous dogs and are excited to continue working on my confidence and training. Trust me, the reward of winning my heart is entirely worth it!

🏡 My Ideal Home

The Only Pet: I am a social guy and enjoy meeting other dogs out on walks, but my play style is very "full-on." I would be happiest as the only pet in the home, but I'd love a solid circle of walking doggy friends!

Exercise Needs: Having three legs means I need to manage my fitness carefully. I will need a family who can help me build up to more frequent exercise gradually, making sure I don't push myself too far. I may also need a ramp at home and for the car.

Patient & Experienced Hands: My perfect match will understand body language, know how to manage a sensitive dog in public, and be willing to give me the time and space I need to settle in.

Arnold will need his own private and secure garden where he can enjoy offlead play. He will also need a refresher on house training and car travel. He will also need someone based at home during the day and will then need a slow build up to being left.

Arnold has overcome so much adversity and has so much love to give. If you have the experience and the heart to help this resilient boy thrive, he will repay you tenfold with a lifetime of loyalty.
