Despite having a bit of a rough past, Salt has kept his heart wide open. True to his name, he is a seasoned, lovely and incredibly gentle boy who is so ready to find his true forever home.

The Best Parts: Salt absolutely thrives when he’s running off-lead, letting his big dog energy out, so he will need his own secure priavte garden with 6ft fencing! He is a big fan of his toys and is very social out on the trails. He’d love a regular walking buddy to strut his stuff with.

The Perfect Home: Salt is looking for an experienced large-breed home that understands his size and his needs. Because he prefers a quiet, slow-paced lifestyle, a home with fewer visitors would be ideal to keep him feeling safe and secure.

The Family: He would do wonderfully with secondary-school-aged children who are already comfortable around big, beautiful dogs.

The Fine Print: Salt is a bit of a homebody! He gets car sick, so he'd prefer a life of local adventures rather than long road trips. Also, while he loves making friends outside, he wants to be the only pet in the house—he’s saving all his sofa cuddles just for you.
